Vintage Cards Daily: 1964 Topps Casey Stengel #324

This time, i will talk about my Casey Stengel card from 1964. I went to my local 'card store',(located in Hampden which sells furniture and other items along with baseball cards. The baseball cards are in a glass display case which is used as the front counter. They are mostly made up of old cards, with no jersey cards, but they do have some orioles autographs from time to time although nothing interesting. Anyway, I picked up a little brick of hall of fame cards. The cards are in those plastic snap cases that hold like 25 cards. On top was a 1979 Sandy Koufax. Up until I purchase it, I had no idea who was on the bottom. After it was paid for, i was on my way home when i looked at the bottom. There it was, a 1964 Stengel. I was ecstatic. When I opened it up, i found more vintage hall of famers. But that's for another day!

Vintage Cards Daily: 1972 Topps Brooks Robinson #498

To start out my vintage posts, I will start with my only vintage card of my hometown hero Brooks Robinson. This is a very interesting card, as you can tell. The card design is not appealing to me, but recieving this card for free from swagbucks.com makes it a great card to own. Plus, 1972 Topps is one of my favorite 70's baseball sets.
